Bedouine: Folk via Armenia, Aleppo, Saudi Arabia, Texas, Kentucky, Massachusetts and California

The singer Bedouine has quite a background:

Azniv Korkejian – Bedouine – is of Armenian descent. She was born in Aleppo, Syria and grew up in Saudi Arabia. A profile at NPR said that her parents won “the green-card lottery” when she was 10 years old and the family moved to Massachusetts. The Korkejian’s travels did not end: They have liked in Texas, Kentucky and California.

I heard “One of These Days” on the great WFUV FM, the radio station of Fordham University in New York City.
