We were stuck is a pretty nasty traffic jam yesterday on Route 17 approaching the Tappen Zee Bridge in New York returning from my daughter’s college graduation from Binghamton University. Luckily, the great American Routes radio program was on WFUV radio, so all was sort of well.
One of the songs was Fredie Ford’s “Sea Cruise.” Here it is a version from the Dick Clark Saturday Night Beech-Nut Show of March 21, 1959. Yes, Clark once was that young. Here is more on Ford.
